I don’t presume to know you or your fight.
I never would
I see you.
I see you
however you are,
exactly as you are,
In light, darkness, pain and uncertainty,
may you know -
You are forever enough.
These are the words I started positively Kate with four and a half years ago. They are also the words I wrote to myself in the ward before I went in for my first shock therapy treatment in case I lost my memory. They will forever be my truth and they will also forever be true. I hope they can inspire you to hold this truth close to your chest when the demons are swarming and the darkness is closing in.
