miscarriage fertility loss solidarity stories
Shortly before my first miscarriage I was spending time with my in-laws and so was not drinking alcohol. Being the only couple without kids, my brother-in-law began to bet with his siblings whether I was pregnant or not and then began to harass me about being pregnant. I asked him to stop as I had just had a positive pregnancy test and was not yet sharing. He did not stop and no one else intervened (including my husband) despite how upset I was. I had a miscarriage a month later. I now get anxious and have flashbacks whenever I'm with my in-laws. We are still the only couple without kids.
