I had drunken blackouts at least once a month for the past 3 years. I have hurt people's feelings and property. I watched my mum and dad cry time after time. I had a drunken psychotic breakdown that changed me forever.

I'm 6 months sober today. I'm dealing with every negative thought that I tried to avoid for years. It can be boring. But I'm glad to wake up every day and know I haven't hurt myself or anyone else.
